Purposes of General Surgery Section

The goal of the General Surgery Care and Support Center is to provide patients with a relaxed, non-fearful and emotional tension, by experienced and competent personnel with the best quality to accelerate the patient's progression.

Patients admitted to the General Surgery Department

In this section, patients requiring treatment are admitted to general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, and ENT.

Reception processes for general surgery

Patients in this sector are mostly electronically and also from the emergency department and other public sectors. At the time of admission, they receive instructions from the physician. Initial training is given to the patient. The initial assessment form is completed in terms of physical, mental, respiratory, cardiovascular and digestive system, history of the disease. If the patient has a history of admission or drug use, be sure to refer to the nursing report. If the patient is admitted from other parts, all connections such as Foley catheter, NGT, Chest tube, IV line and ... are checked. Patient entry tests include CBC, U / A, cr, BUN, BS, NA. The physician's instructions are checked. The patient's histories are sent or the radiology leaf is sent for turning. Advice can be consulted in the shortest time. The response of the emergency tests to the same shifts and the response of other tests in the subsequent shift is followed. Patients need to be isolated from other patients and even separated from different patients. Different patients are identified and vulnerable to patients who are prone to fall, bed sores, and so on. Training is needed to raise the fences next to the bed. In case of wound healing, training is needed to change the position every 2 hours, use of wax mattress and, in case of wound progress, the use of camifile is taught.

 

Rules of General Surgery

1 hour of meeting between 2-4 hours.

2. At the time of the visit, admission to the admission is strictly prohibited.

3-hour V / S checks every six hours except in post-operative cases that control and chart the symptoms every hour as V / S.

4. The discharge of patients is done between 12:00 and 12:00.

5-Shipment delivery times and shifts are between 5-7: 7am, 2-45pm / 13pm, and 8.30pm / 8pm.
